Meet Ali Gaadoudi — Active Rehab & Biomechanics Specialist in Calgary
I've been the patient. That's why I became the specialist.
My career as a basketball player gave me discipline — and a long list of injuries. Those years on the treatment table are exactly what led me to the other side of it.
From the Treatment Table to the Other Side of It
As a competitive basketball player, I dealt with injury after injury. Spending years on rehab tables completely changed my perspective: I stopped viewing recovery as a frustrating interruption and began seeing the human body as a complex system of physics and engineering.
That fascination drove me to look past standard fitness trends and dive deep into applied biomechanics. Shifting to this systemic framework changed everything. It replaced the guesswork of generic programming with objective science.
Today, my athletic background and biomechanical obsession dictate exactly how I work. I map your unique structural footprint to eliminate movement bottlenecks, drastically reduce injury risk, and build a high-output, resilient body capable of lifting heavier and performing at its absolute limit.
"What fascinates me most is watching how differently each body responds to the same stimulus. It's a constant reminder that movement is individual — and complex."
Three Principles Behind Every Program
Only by truly understanding the person is it possible to structure progressions that are effective, sustainable, and consistent with their real needs.
-
A Space You Feel Safe In
Before anything technical, my job is to create an environment where you feel genuinely at ease. Nobody makes progress while bracing for judgement.
-
Assess, Then Involve You
A thorough assessment sets the direction — but you're never a passenger. I explain what I find, why the plan looks the way it does, and I keep you updated as it evolves.
-
Consistency and Clarity
Results come from steady, transparent work toward goals we set together. No vague promises, no moving targets — just measurable progress.
- Professionalism
- Empathy
- Active Listening
- Continuous Learning
- Attention to Detail
Four Lenses on Human Movement
I study movement from every angle that matters — because pain, performance and rehabilitation all live at the intersection of these four.
-
Anatomical
Which structures are actually involved — and which ones are silently compensating.
-
Physiological
How your muscles and joints work under load, and how they recover from it.
-
Neuromuscular
Motor control: whether your body is firing the right muscle at the right moment.
-
Psychomotor
How you learn a movement — and how we make the correction stick for good.
- Static postural screen
- Internal & external forces
- Joint levers
- Torque
- Balance & trajectories
- APECS & Yogger analysis
Biological Age, Not Just the Number
Four things never change — initial assessment, individualized progressions, empathy and listening, constant monitoring. Everything else adapts to your body, your history and your risk factors.

I introduce myself, my background and how I work — so you know exactly who you're trusting.
-
I Listen
Your problem, your history, your goal. In your words, without me rushing to conclusions.
-
Detailed Assessment
A full biomechanical evaluation. By the end, your situation is far clearer to you than it was.
-
A Real Target
We set a concrete goal and the guided path to reach it. You leave knowing what happens next.
Let's Find Out What's Really Going On
Fifteen minutes, no obligation. Tell me where it hurts or where you're stuck, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to help — and what the path would look like.
